Our Classes
We run our LAMDA classes at The Baptist Church on Frant Road every Monday and Thursday evening. These sessions give children the chance to work through the official LAMDA syllabus, developing skills in acting, verse and prose, or public speaking, depending on their chosen path. At the end of the year, students have the opportunity to take an accredited LAMDA exam in their selected genre, gaining a recognised qualification.
Our groups are deliberately kept small so that every child receives tailored guidance and support from our experienced team. This ensures that each student not only feels confident going into their exam but also builds valuable communication and performance skills they can carry forward!
LAMDA
We run our Tuesday Alternative Performing Arts Club at The Baptist Church on Frant Road every Tuesday evening. These sessions give children the chance to explore a wide range of performing arts, including acting, singing, movement, and creative performance work. Each term focuses on developing new skills, building confidence, and working together on imaginative projects.
Unlike our exam-focused classes, this club is all about creativity, fun, and collaboration. Students are encouraged to try out different aspects of performance in a supportive environment, helping them discover their strengths and gain valuable experience across multiple art forms. Our groups are kept small so that every child benefits from personalised attention, ensuring they leave each session feeling inspired and confident.
Tuesday Performing Arts
We run our Saturday Morning Performing Arts Classes at Fordcombe Village Hall every Saturday during term time. These sessions bring together singing, drama, and dance, giving children the chance to develop their performance skills in a lively, creative environment. Each term has a different focus, ranging from group songs and routines to monologues, duets, and full performance pieces, ensuring students experience a wide variety of disciplines.
Our Saturday classes are designed to be both fun and challenging, encouraging teamwork while also helping each child grow in confidence and ability. With smaller groups for younger children and extended sessions for older students, we tailor the experience to suit different age ranges. By the end of each year, students have the opportunity to take part in showcases and creative projects, sharing their progress and achievements with friends and family.
